Event Details

The Birmingham and Leicester International Churches of Christ are hosting a special Worship Service at the Old Rep Theatre

The service will include worship songs with our choir "Call To Worship", a dramatic re-telling of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ  and a live band and vocal ensemble.  After the service finishes there will be a Youth Concert.    The Old Rep Theatre opened in 1913  and was the UK's first purpose-built repertory theatre. 

It will be a fantastic setting for our Worship Service!  Worship Service is from 3 to 4:30pm.  30 minute break.  Youth Concert from 5pm to 6pm.   EVERYONE MUST REGISTER!  This is on agreement with the venue and will also help us with planning.     Childcare: 

Children are invited to attend with their parents but please be reminded that the service includes a drama performance of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and may not be appropriate for some.

Access Information: 

The Old Rep is an old theatre with lots of stairs and no lifts.  There is an accessible toilet and step-free access if required.  If you are a wheel chair user, unable to climb stairs and/or a Blue Badge Holder please note this under "Additional Information" when you register.

Getting There: The Old Rep Theatre is located on Station Street opposite the Southside entrance of Grand Central in Birmingham City Centre. The theatre is in a central position close to major bus routes and train stations.

By Bus:

Any into central Birmingham however the following buses have a stop on Station Street ~ 35, 45, 47, 16, 16A, 25 and 80.

By train:

Birmingham New Street is across the road and accessed by the Southside entrance of the station. Moor St - 10 min walk. Snow HIll - 15 min walk.   By tram:

Nearest stop is on Stephenson St/Stephenson Place.  5 min walk through Grand Central.  

By car:

There are several car parks in close proximity to the theatre.  Please note that the theatre is within the Birmingham Clean Air Zone and charges may apply to your vehicle.

Housekeeping 😊 When you register please note that you are agreeing to abide by the safety measures put in place by the church and venue.  This includes children being under the supervisoon of their parents at all times and any special health measures which may be in place on Sunday 25th September 2022.   We are really looking forward to meeting together for this special worship service!
