Peacemaking Webinar - Conflict Resolution - A Fighting Chance

Why this webinar? 

Conflicts/differences are part of normal life - think of marriages, parenting, one-another-relationships, intra-church relationships etc. The aim of this webinar is to signal hope that when conflicts are handled correctly we can glorify God and bring people together. The focus is personal conflict competence and a working understanding of apologies, forgiveness, and reconciliation. The material is a mix of biblical and secular principles, and is taught with a bit of humour, humanity, and some serious aspects.  

The shepherding team here in Birmingham has decided to have the first, titled “A Fighting Chance”, delivered by Steve Staten (North Carolina, USA), a certified professional in Conflict Management, and to be joined on the Q&A panel by another brother, David Jung (Winnipeg, Canada), also a certified professional in the field of Conflict Resolution and Mediation. 

The end of this first webinar also gives us a chance to announce a further workshop - the “ICOC Peacemakers Program” - to be delivered by David Jung. This workshop will be in three sessions of 3-hours per session, and is to take place on the Saturdays of 17 th June, 24 th June, and 1 st July, from 2pm-5pm (separate registration fee and details will be sent to those who express interest in this workshop).
